Cultural Content Creator & Storyteller | 2020 Catapult Grant Recipient

About

I'm a cultural storyteller with a Bachelor of Arts in Steel Pan
Fabrication and its Art Form from Northern Illinois University.
In 2020 I was a Catapult Grant recipient which was a major Caribbean arts grant supporting 100 artists across the region during COVID-19. I've directed my work towards preserving and sharing Caribbean and African diaspora cultural traditions through
modern digital media.
My work includes video production, animation, and documentary
content, all centered on authentic cultural narratives. Through
my "Gal Wid Di Hammer" series, I document the traditional craft
of steel pan fabrication, while my broader content explores
Caribbean festivals, music, and cultural heritage.
I believe in creating content that honors people's stories with
dignity and respect while making cultural knowledge accessible
to new generations.
